PANIYARI, PALANPUR (B.K.)
It was 5–7–2019 warm sunny evening I was at the football field at my hometown Palanpur. Our field is situated on the outskirts of Palanpur at a farmhouse of our coach. There are many farmhouses near our field. Surprisingly, the warm weather turns into a storm and black clouds were on there way. That creation of god was very satisfactory because it was clear that there will be rain. Peacocks were happy and Storms was very scary that we have to stop our practice for a while. We all were praying and was happy looking at the sky that there will be rain and will restart our practice. Football in rain is great fun for a player. In a while, there was heavy rain and we continued our play in the rain. We played for a half-hour and then the rain was so heavy that the field turned into a mini swimming pool and we have to over our practice. While doing kit down and Seating with teammates on the bench, looking at the current weather we all decided to visit a PANIYARI WATERFALL which is 25 km from my hometown. The discussion on a next day plan was was exciting and a new adventure for all of us. We added some necessary terms and conditions like to carry their own water bottles, fruits, dry food packets, cap, extra clothes, Cap so on and so forth. We decided to meet at an Abu highway check post at 6 am with our two-wheeler and filled our petrol tanks. finally, it was goodbye time and we leave our field.
The next morning, 5:30 we all called each other as we were part of the alarm. As per discussion I kept all the necessary things in my backpack and charged phone. We all gathered at a decided place and finally left for an adventurous experience in a little rainy weather. The weather was so suitable for the trekking and a long drive together with friends on an activa. Within 30min after a wonderful drive, we reached our basepoint which is MUMANVAS (20kms from Palanpur).
Reaching there we asked locality of their for a way to our destination. Followed the way as per the locals suggest and then we find that there is no road to ride our vehicle to the destination. It was quite surprising for all of us and confusing also. We then discussed among ourselves looking at peak and decided to trek for 5kms and reach our destination. Parked our vehicle at someone’s farmhouse with there permission and followed a way that they suggested to us. Finally, our real adventure starts now…
We all together started our walking through the middle of farms. It was lush green everywhere, chirping birds, farmers doing their work with a great smile on their face. It’s a universal fact that Adventure with friends is great fun. We are walking through it talking, jogging, capturing marvelous moments but in the back of the mind WATERFALL at the center of mountains was there. After walking 1 km through farms there comes wonderful fun and that was to cross one small mountain to reach our destination.
So, begin over trekking with great determination and started walking through an uneven surface and balancing ourselves, because many of us were slipping a lot because of the last evening rain the surface became quite slippery. There was a happy feeling because there was not much heat, green trees, happy birds and this nature thing gives great pleasure to the human mind. After walking for a while there was a plain surface and the scenery was beautiful. Green mountains surrounding us, a small stream of water was there. Looking at this we immediately take off our shoes, fold our trek pants, and run towards the water. Playing into it splashing water at each other, washing our face with pure water, seating on a waterside, and doing meditation was a great relief to our journey till now and started eating channas and Bananas seating there and observing nature. Suddenly my eyes stopped at looking hand pump on a side of the water and that was also another relief because bottles we were carrying were almost empty so I decided to fil it up from there. Handpump at there was of the tribal people who were residing in a region. So, again we wore our shoes, folded pants down and gone near a hand pump, and filled our bottles, packed our bags, and again started our journey to WATERFALL…..
It was around 7:45 am the sun was more bright and the temperature was around 33'. But we were relaxed as we had over breakfast and meditation on a waterside. To get distracted from heat, I was carrying a Bluetooth speaker with me and played a soothing song of RITVIZ-CHALO CHALEIN. some of its perfect traveling lyrics touch every traveler's heart …………

Lyrics on lips, a speaker in hand, cool breeze touching us, bright sun, and feet were on there a way to Waterfall. In the middle of the mountain, there is a huge lake full of water and a beautiful fall beside it. We thought we have reached our destination but it was not that we thought. But it was so beautiful with a great flow of water but it was so uneven slippery surface so we thought not to stop here. There I asked one locality about Paniyari waterfall way in a very fluent tribal language:-
“MASI,PONIYARI NU JHARNU KAI SIDE THI JAVANU? ”
She replied “ OMM THI JATA RO, 10 MILITE NO RASTO HAI”

Again we followed what she suggested to us and beneath my mind, one sentence was going on continuously “WO MANZAR, HAI LAPATA”. As of then, we were so tired and yes we have to reach our MANZIL as soon as possible. But the way to reach there was so wonderful with greenery surrounding us and water flow soothing sound. walking, jogging and the sound of water was slowly coming close to us and suddenly we saw one beautiful WATERFALL. Our speed of walking increased and the sound of water also. That was wow, natural beauty around us and we were on peak and center of the mountain together with a WATERFALL. All our tiredness was down, a smile on the face, hugging each other, and without wasting any time quickly take our all wearables and jump into cold water. A perfect song was played in my speaker WAVIN’ FLAG, as that was our celebration moment. The flow of water was so nice to see and dangerous at the same and I can't describe how we felt at that moment. Jumping in the water, swimming, and having a free of cost fish spa by SUCKER FISH. After some moment we were so hungry and again we unpack our bag and took off all NASTAS that we bought from home. The feeling of eating in between of jungle and water on another side is a beautiful moment for every traveler.
Again We jump into the water and started capturing the moments and talking, laughing, running, underwater games, and so on and so forth. the feeling of it is very awesome and every traveler can feel it reading this and imaging it. spending a lot of time on it we decided to live a place because the weather was getting more rainy and we have to trek down to the base.SO, came out of the water dry ourselves, wore clothes, and started walking down……
